A Final Sunset

The sunset to me is the one of the beauties of nature,
Something no one or nothing can deny you the pleasure of.
Should I lose my sight today this is one that will be rooted deeply in my mind
From now until the end of my time.

I love the way the sky has it blue haze,
Yet at the same time it has the orange blaze.
So many things can be wrong all around me,
That’s when I just pull out this picture to see.

I don’t claim to be a photographer or an artist,
Just that of certain areas I have the slight gist.
The sunset here is of one that I find so great,
One that I sat and watched while contemplating fate.

Death had claimed a person dear in my life,
And as I sat there staring up at this site in awe,
The only thing that struck me the most,
Was that everyday ends with another sunset somewhere.
