A lovers walk

The birds are singing in the trees,
as we walk the path kicking up the leaves,
hand in hand a tremble in our knees,
all that we hear is the autumn breeze.

You look at me a smile on your face,
now i know i have found the right place,
a heavenly walk we are taking together,
in a hope it remains like this for ever.

The rain starts to fall,
droplets hitting the floor,
but the sun around us does still shine,
as together we take steps in time.

We are stepping forward into the future,
a lovers walk like no other,
i love you is whispered on the breeze,
take my hand and kiss me please.

I turn to you and squeeze your hands,
i need to tell you as the winds command,
i love you dear i whisper in your ear,
as i close my eyes and kiss your lips,
a lovers walk in total bliss.…
