A Lucky Roll

Excitement, thrills, risks and chances
   Once you roll, your luck enhances

Throw it once, throw it twice, give it one more
  See what comes, you never know what could
    have been in store

A slow beginning, confused and jumbled
   A new beginning, now beautiful and humbled

Breaking ground, only sprouting
   Feeling bound, and always doubting

Wanting to breathe, easy and deep
   Constantly thinking, never able to sleep

The tide has come, and has now settled over
   Unsettled feelings are beginning to sober

The days are passing, soothingly slow
   Feelings are beginning to rapidly grow

Now comes the time to be anxious yet patient
   A difficult task when feelings are no longer
     latent

Resting in the background are feelings of neglect
   They must be acknowledged with unrelenting
     respect

Anxious feelings of family needs
   Another task easily accomplished with
     compromising deeds

Alone at last, to share and to hold
   Cherish the warmth, as it soon turns to
     emptiness and cold

Feelings of desire and unbearable lust
   Hidden under a blanket of complicated must

Ready to be taken, only to be tantalized and
   teased
   The excitement and swelling of wanting to be
     pleased

Beauty unlike no other, attraction burning into passion, desire forming into lust
   Soothing acceptance of never ending trust.

Cooling down for only a moment, regroup and restore
   It can only last so long, for it will become a
   moot and a bore

Anxious, anxious, eager and impatient, hormones thrusting and bursting
   Mutual thoughts bearing a reciprocating urge
   and thirsting

How it all became, unannounced, spontaneous and amazing
   The spark first seen, a glow, a shine, now is
    blazing

It has already emerged, and the roots are grown
   What keeps these feelings from being known

Time will tell, a phrase always mentioned
   The time has come for all to be told

Elizabeth, I have fallen into your ocean, of love and affection
   I am now drowning deep, as I look up I see my
   fading reflection

We have come along cautious and guarded
   Now let it go, feel safe and rewarded

My love for you is unbound and will never end
   I treasure every little moment we spend.

I see the love, and devotion in your eye
