Again

I splashed the skies luminescent today;
deepest plum to burgundy pine,
and lined it with shimmered silver.

I painted the breeze crimson with black gale,
force gusted streaks;
carving trees out of stone, leaves granite chips,
fallen and dead at the base
and the meadows – music, throbbing
of horses hooves
until I ran into a fence
tangled, stuck.

My world began again.

I splashed the skies soft luminescent blue today
then lined them with shimmered silver clouds,
roving giants of gentle imagery.

I painted the breeze damp green, wafting
pine and fresh cut grass, faint rotting leaves;
and then I relaxed.
