Beautiful images hidden in the obscure.
I search the light , the dark, the shades of gray for clues.
Talk to me in your riddles and rhymes if that is how you wish to speak.
Or is it the only way you can?

I let my eyes go hazy as your words sink in.
I read between the lines and catch glimpses of you
In the crowded dance of words.
Piece by piece you fall into place.
The puzzle incomplete.

You raised the looking glass to us,
But did you know?
The looking glass goes both ways.
By touching me, I touch you too.

Keep writing and I’ll keep reading.
Following the lyrical breadcrumbs that lead to your inner self.
Getting closer each time to the beat of your heart.
I’ll show you mine, if you show me yours.

*note-I hemmed and hawed about posting this as I thought it a bit of a mess. Too many allusions, not enough cohesiveness. But try as I might, another way to say this just wouldn't come to me.I decided to post it after reading someone elses with the looking glass reference...my simple mind took it as a sign to suck it up and take the hits, post it you wuss!So here it is, meh.
