Beltane

On this night I feel the heartbeat

of the earth within my own.

The night breeze brings the heady scent of the land,

With each breath my desire is fed

The energy moving up my spine

Leaving tiny flickers of flames over my skin

My breath quickens in anticipation

He is near

My body comes to life

I yearn for his touch

Feeling his breath on my neck,

As his arms encircle my waist

Pulling me back against his hardness

His raw power is impossible to resist

His dark eyes seeing into my soul

His lips capture mine…..I surrender
