Cat and mouse

The first two and the last
three lines are from the
traditional nursery rhyme

I love little pussy
her coat is so warm

Feline she walks,
stalks her prey
unhurried grace
smiles, nods, air kisses
then turns away, to him
paw lights on his shoulder. "Mine"
He looks up, poor mouse,
thinks she's here to play.

So I'll not pull her tail
nor drive her away
Pussy and I very gently will play.
