I had a dream last night
You held me close
Until morning light.
I awake and you're gone
Left feeling completely alone.
   I had a dream
   You were once again mine
   We were both happy
   Love untouched by time.
I had a dream
You held me so close
Passionately kissing me,
Loving me, missing me.
   I had a dream
   You said you were wrong
   For breaking my heart
   After loving me so long.
I had a dream
This was only a dream
And I wake up by your side.
You give me a kiss,
I know in my heart
That your love for me
Hasn't died.
