Entrancing Glances

A smile as full of life as spring,

It brings it's warmth to everything,

With lips so soft as ripened peaches,

Teeth as white as summer beaches.

Hair vivid as an autumn leaf,

Each change of color bold, yet brief.

Lashes long as winter nights.

A glance so strong it holds me tight.

Eyes bright -yet dark. A contradiction.

Passion as well as conviction,

Reflect across uncommon breadths.

Falling.....

          Falling.....

               In their depths.

Loosing sense of time and space,

Sense of purpose...sense of place.

Could this be some tidal force?

Or Destiny, with no recourse?

What beckons me beyond control?

The eyes are windows to the soul.
