Don’t you see this love right before your very eyes?
It is not one of lust between my thighs
Wanting to offer you the closest thing to unconditional love
The closest thing that can only be offered from up above

So many words composed and sent my way
I swooned, fell in love and to your advances even said, Okay
Why now almost a year to the date
You withdraw and do not want to be my mate

So many intimate moments with dreams and desires
Many fears, hopes and things that we aspire
So many hours we spent on a machine talking
At times I felt as if I was hounding or even stalking

This man in my mind that meets my expectations
One with honor, love and dedication
A man that would dance with me after we made love
One that would awake me by parting my legs with a little shove

Mystical wonders through your words conceived
A man that you created that made me believe
One that felt his love would put me in jeopardy and cause me to die
So hence the reason not to meet causing me to sigh

Where have you gone my cyber love?
You wings fluttering away from me like a dove
Taken your thoughts and feelings to someone else
So far away from me and somewhere else

As each day pass I can see so clear
I grow stronger and my eyes do not tear
Twisting your words keep me hopeful
Realizing you’re incapable of a love so powerful

Thinking that you were my true soul mate
To figure it out before it was too late
I see your words as a contradiction but reeling me in
It is a façade that unraveled before me as you spin

With this poem written and nearing the end
I release you in order for my heart to mend
Realizing that you were not the one and can never be
With all these words said and done, I am free!
