  • Fallen from my minds eye

Fallen from my minds eye

Resting in my soul in relative comfort

A darkened shard of a dream unheeded

Designs of a heart left caged

The subjugation of a broken soul

Lay the dormant flames of a fire grown frigid

Carried into luminescent heat

Ignited by a vigor as yet unsung

Becomes a web of trust

And trusts in the wind to bear it aloft

On wings of conviction to the heavens

Becomes a tangible fixation

It’s aspect wrought from hope

Forged in the flame of passionate dreams

Becomes to me a maelstrom of sensation

Coalesces into an unyielding force

And cools in the breath of the world

And falls…a tear from my mind’s eye
