forest echoes

deep in the forest echoes
the singing of the sidhe
in the moonlight i listen close
to the voices, wild and free

they call my heart to leap and dance
and join in their song
if i could find the moonlit path
it seems i would belong

i close my eyes and walk in faith
through the trusted trees
their strength is my guidance
i will walk where they lead me

through the darkness, i begin to dance
the music now is strong
they call to me with sacred strength
to join in their song

the moon, the trees, and voices guide me
into the forest, deeper still
i follow, footsteps light and dancing
soon, my soul begins to fill

i feel, then, a whispering,
a feathered touch upon my eyes
i open them, so slow, it seems
to gaze in awe and great surprise

i find myself in another realm
a castle build with trees
with clouds for windows, leaves for floor
upon which dance the sidhe

their hands reach out, enticing
their eyes, like fire, invite
their spirit, their magic, it calls to me
with them i shall take flight

i shall twist andd dance through fairy land
through knots and webs they weave
and find my wings will hold me
if only i believe
