Erotic Poetry Hub / Non-Erotic Poetry / Freedom

by theaterchick 08/08/01

Freedom called me with her soft voice.
"Come and play dear child. Come and dance to my song"
There was a hint of doubt. "NO!" The darkness screamed.
He pulled at me. Trying to take hold of my garments. Trying to rend and
mar them with his ways.
I simply smiled at his childish outburst.
I walked with freedom.
Hand in hand.
