Our World

Our vessel is a dream machine,
Drifting long, timeless, on a magical river of pleasure.
This is our world; no others may enter.
You and I its only inhabitants,
And we travel through unbounded,
In search of nothing, finding each other.

We desire an evening outing
And instantly, surroundings of pure perfection appear.
A boundless night sky ablaze with glimmering diamonds
Against a fathomless field of shining onyx.
Billowy clouds strain to be seen as they arrange their forms
Matching each appealing thought crossing our minds.
The moon labors to display its most pleasing light,
A beacon existing but to lead our way.

The water is like none other.
No words describe its pillowed feel and tranquil flow.
Like a wondrous mirror, it creates a second sky for us to glide.
Silhouettes of trees submit to us an orderly arrangement,
Their only purpose - an archway for our passage.
Our riverbanks bubble with molten gold and silver,
Yet all possible glories of flowers thrive,
Their petals leap to leave their blooms and join us as we pass.

Wildlife?! Oh yes!
Our land teems with the spectrum of living dance.
The beasts kneel in devotion to their King and Queen
And raise their voices as one in enchanted harmony,
A heavenly serenade to accompany the music of love we play.
An infinite cloud of majestic butterflies follows close behind,
Sensual guardians fluttering round to glimpse our smiles.
Footsoldier fish swim formations on all sides,
Their captains spring from the water searching simple approval.

What could possibly improve our world?
An easier question was never posed.
Might I suggest a loving glance, a whispered uttering of tenderness,
A searching touch, a heated embrace, a passionate kiss, a fluid joining of souls?
Let us continue our journey and discover the answers.
Lean back against my breast
And feel my heart pound its spirited rhythm into you.
Close your eyes to all this beauty and allow me to steer your mind,
To an even more incredible land.
