Rain Dance - A Pantoum

Rain Dance

Did I plant that garden for you in my dreams?
Surrounded with color and form.
When the rain came down in steady streams,
the sunflowers danced in the storm.

Surrounded with color and form,
it was a picture of living fine art.
The sunflowers danced in the storm,
and foxgloves offered my heart.

It was a picture of living fine art.
Lady's mantle cupped the dew,
and foxgloves offered my heart,
as we danced in a field of fescue.

Lady's mantle cupped the dew,
when the rain came down in steady streams.
As we danced in a field of fescue,
did I plant that garden for you in my dreams?
