Silent Cries and Pleas

What are these demons that lurk within my mind? They taunt me and tear apart my insides, causing me to cringe in pain. I run, but they persue me, continuing this torment further. Why can't I hide myself from them? I try to shield myself from their attacks, but their claws reach me still. I fall and they swoop down to grab me. I surrender and the beasts engulf me. Pain. All that is left is this inescapable pain. Someone please hear my cries and save my battered soul! It is useless, my screams become silent pleas. O' God! What have they done to me?? I make futile attempts to escape, but it is useless. I lie there, a lifeless shell hidden from the sight of any savior. I cry one last tear as I slip from consciousness........... I am gone.
