Speed Run

Joker and I were Sturgis bound;
meet fellow brothers, scorned.
Deciding on a speed run,
with no address forewarned.

My 'ride it like you stole it' shirt
took a beatin'; like my ass,
and as the sun was touchin' Wall,
a final gulp and go and gas.

No verses 'bout women or sturgis,
it was all about the ride.
Finding zen at ninety-five,
and grins we couldn't hide.

Coming back was different?
(the other side of the street).
sun and wind, tangled hair and beard,
and bugs demanding, 'eat'.

Our hats are off to HD,
hey, we rode them bad girls hard.
You ladies could take a lesson,
want to fill your dancin' cards?
