Stripped

I was stripped of my family, at least what I knew as a family, at five.
A father, a mother, and a dog in the back yard.
I was stripped of my innocence at seven, even though I try not to remember.
Stripped of trust in romance at fourteen, my first love was a cheating liar.
I was stripped of my childhood at eighteen, when I was forced to get a real job and a place of my own.
At twenty one I gave birth to my first of many children, and was stripped of my freedom.
Stripped was my oneness with my self and all my privacy at twenty five, when I married.
All that I have known has been naked from beginning to end.
Now, now that I'm...older, I have bared my emotions with ink and paper and I am not ashamed.
