To Love, To Live

To love, or not to love, that is the question;
Like the true question:
Do I truly want to love? and why?
What is it that they possess
That I would care to Possess?
Do I dare fight off the problems
That do beseech me? Or do I
Simply sleep my troubles away?
To be happy, to be unhappy;
To be happy! do I chance the
River of Love or the Sea of Troubles?
This truth I hold so dear to
Mine own soul; perchance to temp Fate,
Or to live, and love no one else
To an end
Travelled by all, feared by all,
Yet scorned by none. I fight to give
Patience, love and understanding;
To warm a heart, touch a soul, bring
Joy and happiness to those in need,
Forever forgetting that I need too. To truth
The end, to meet death together,
Alone, but not alone, loved, but not loved,
Feared, yet embraced, desired, but feared.
Dare I traverse this torrid sea
That dost give life to thee? and taking
This gift of life away, their currents
Turn awry, losing insolence and office,
Paying respect and disrespect to deserved souls,
Driving this love truly to the heart
Of pain and anguish where it is aught to
Stay throughout eternity.
Do I love? Do I hate?
Do I give myself into temptation,
Giving love, and heart, and soul away,
Only to expect nothing in return?
To love, to give, and by giving, to say we end
That aching, that pain which causes this
Burning desire to create, to love, to
Scorn, to hate and to give;
Giving only practise to the deserving soul,
Wanting more, taking less,
Giving in! to Temptation, I give
My soul, my heart to my love,
And both, with my life, to thee.
