Colton leaned down and whispered, "Chelsea I have to leave to see about Madeline. I'm worried about her."

Nothing.

The doctor commented, "We'll keep a closer eye on this. Who knows? We might be close to something."

Colton answered, "God I hope so. I'd do anything."

Somewhere, deep in the darkest recesses of her bleak, black nightmare a young woman's life was held captive. Then in an instant, a moment. A second! A faint glimmer of light penetrated her unforgiving neurological dungeon and the piteous comatose child-woman heard the most marvelous words, 'He'd do anything.' Aroused! She had to... get...back! But then the ominous blackness closed in again...smothering...

Colton clutched her tiny hand, "Chelsea please. Oh Jesus. God..." There was no end to it. He thought, 'How long can this madness go on?
