Katja Pt. 07

Author's Note:

This is a work of pure fantasy.

The story contains sexual activities and situations between a man and a humanoid cat-girl that are to be read only by readers above the legal age of consent. All characters having sexual relations are above the age of 18. Or whatever the legal age is on whatever planet they came from. All the character names, places are made up and not real.

Yes, the Ancient Alien people were right. This is Part 7 of a love story and more of a human male and humanoid cat-girl from another planet.

Also, for convenience and to keep the story moving, everything has been converted to English such as language, measurements and names, etc. etc.

As are most of the stories I've written and will write, if you're looking for story that goes, "They met, they had wild sex, the end" I would advise reading something else. I stopped this part of the story at a place that seemed right when I was splitting it up. As soon as I get the next part cleaned up, I'll post that and so on and so forth.

I still consider myself an amateur writer, so please take that into consideration when you read it. I write for my enjoyment and for the people that like it. And remember, this is pure fiction and fantasy.

If you don't like how and what I write, oh well. Don't read it. My feelings won't be hurt.

For those of you that do like what I've posted so far, thank you and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.

*****

Katja hugged his arm again and reached up to kiss him. "I think it's a good idea, we'll have to see what happens here first. But right now, all I want is you in bed with me, I need to feel you against me my love."

Erik smiled, "That I can do with no problem, it has been a long day." He stood and pulled her up off the couch to hold her as he nuzzled at her neck and breathed in her scent. She smiled and kissed him, then led them into the sleeping quarters.

Part 7

They got up the next morning a little stiff, the beds in the quarters were very small so they had to sleep spooned up to each other and there was very little room for any of the usual nighttime activities. Which, didn't help to keep their desires down, being spooned up naked together.

Erik smiled and said to her, "I hope we can sleep in our own bed tonight." He kissed her holding her naked body to his. "I wanted you so bad."

Katja purred a little feeling his cock against her, "I know my mate, I wish there was more room. I wanted you just as much."

They got cleaned up and dressed, then headed down the dining hall for breakfast. They greeted their friends and various others of the crew. They sat at their normal table with Katja's old crew. They were glad to see them even if it was going to be Ariel and not Katja that led them, but since Katja was going to be in overall charge, they knew things were going to change and get better.

They made small talk while they ate, and when they finished, they hung around for a second cup of tea. Then the PA system activated and requested Lieutenants Katja and Woodes to report to the Commander Geoff's office.

They said goodbye to the crew and after dropping off their trays, they headed to their uncle's office.

Erik pressed the intercom and the door slid open and they walked in. Uncle Geoff greeted them and asked if they had eaten yet. Erik and Katja nodded that they had. "Well, join us in the dining room and we can talk while Victoria and I eat. Oh, and Erik, you'll be glad to know I also have earth coffee for you, Victoria likes It better than tea. So, I had them get me a coffee maker like you have in your office."

Erik and Katja grinned as they realized that Victoria more than likely spent the night as it was fairly early for her to have shown up.

They walked into the dining room and they smiled when they saw Victoria sitting at the table. They greeted her warmly and Katja said to her, "It's nice to see you this early, I hope you had a good night."

Victoria blushed with a sidelong glance at Geoff and said, "Yes, it was very nice."

"And you?" She asked.

Katja smiled, "It was alright, but we will be happier once were home, the beds in the crew quarters weren't really designed for two, so there's not a lot of room for anything but sleeping."

Victoria blushed slightly, she still hadn't got used to the casual way they acted about sex. So, she smiled and nodded, then let it drop.

Erik noticed, and felt a little sorry for her. Human males aren't bothered as much about it, but human females were a little shy discussing thing like that so openly in mixed company. Oh, well, she'll just have to get used to it.

While Uncle Geoff and Victoria ate, Erik and Katja drank their tea and coffee while they made small talk. Once they had finished, Victoria mentioned that there would be a short news conference at 0900. "Since I know how you feel about reporters Erik, I arranged it after Geoff asked me to. There will only be a few reporters from both the newspapers and for a TV news spot. I assure you that the ones that will be coming, will be ones you can trust, I guarantee it."

Erik nodded, "OK, as long as you vouch for them, it's fine by me." Then he grinned, "I promise I'll be good."

Victoria smiled, now that she had gained his trust, Erik was very open with her which pleased her to no end.

Then Erik asked, "Is there any new information that came out yet?"

Victoria shook her head no. "Not yet I'm afraid, none of the media have heard anything."

Erik grinned slightly, "It's probably a foregone conclusion that we'll never hear much of anything else. It happened at too high of a position."

Victoria nodded, "I hate to agree with you, but your more than likely right. I really doubt we'll ever hear the whole true story."

Erik agreed with that statement, "Well, I for one, don't care, as long as it's being fixed, they can handle it anyway they want. As long as it doesn't happen again."

Victoria looked at him a little surprised, "I figured you'd want whoever is responsible to be, ah what is the Navy term, oh yes, "Keelhauled."

Erik grinned, "No, like I said, when things are that high up, you'll almost never hear about it. But, it will be taken care of."

Then he got serious, "Look, after a few weeks, most people wouldn't even remember this unless someone keeps it going. The people saw and heard of a problem, then demanded that something be done. It has, so now they're happy and they can go on with their lives knowing it's been taken care of."

He took a drink of coffee, then continued, "Leadership and human nature 101, the majority of people only think in the here and now. They don't want problems or injustices, so whenever it's fixed, its done and their happy."

"Leadership is the same way, you don't want problems, it looks bad, especially when it's up high like this. If they kept in the people's minds, the people start to mistrust the leadership. So, they handle it, you stop hearing about it, and then everyone is happy once more. It's as simple as that."

The three of them looked at Erik with a bit of astonishment. Then Victoria asked him, "Erik, you intrigue me, you really do. You seem to have the ability to bring everything down to a base level." She laughed, "Does this come normally, or did you learn it from someone."

Erik smiled at her. "A lot of it is just being able to look at the world as it is and not trying to read something into it. Some I learned from the Navy and Chief I served under. The rest I learned from reading different things, a six-month deployment leaves you a lot of time on your hands. The two things I read that really got me to thinking like I do was the "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu and a book I read about the ancient Roman empire. That's the one that taught me the "here and now" premise. They kept the Roman people happy and compliant by using that. I'm sure you've heard the term "Bread and Circuses."

"Most people don't want to think about tomorrow. In the book a Roman Cohort Commander was telling a junior Centurion he liked about how to motivate his legions. He called it the short memory principle, because the legionnaires mostly only thought in the here and now. I won't go through all of it, but the gest was, that if he could make promises to them and make good on them, his legion would rise up and make him emperor. Because they didn't think about what comes after, they were happy now. That always stuck in my mind because of how true it was."

He turned to Katja, "Here's an example, the day you gave the crew off for a job well done. They were so happy, they would have elected you captain if they could. But, what they didn't realize is that they would have to work harder the next day, because they still had work to be done that day. But they were nice and happy right then. I've had the same thing in our Navy, no difference."

Katja gaped at her mate as she understood what he trying to tell them. Even the commander was looking at him a little wide eyed.

Victoria shook her head in disbelief. "That is really unbelievable, but your right, I've never looked at that way before, but I have seen this more times than I can imagine."

Erik smiled, "As I've said time and time again, people are people and they all basically think and act alike. No matter where they came from. We also see this all the time in our elections, the candidates make all kinds of promises they know damn well they'll never keep, but the people elect them because they think they'll be happier and well off later on, but a lot of times they aren't."

Erik shrugged, "It's the "nature of the beast" as they say." Then he looked at Victoria and smiled, "Maybe I need to apologize to you again, because that's what I used on you. I made you feel that I didn't trust you, but everybody wants to be trusted, then said the only way I would, was for you to prove it. You did, everyone got helped, and you were happy because now I do trust you. This is how you motivate someone. Granted this explanation is highly simplified, but I think you get my meaning."

The Commander started to laugh as Victoria looked at Erik with awe. Then he asked Erik, "Sort of like your "I don't care if they love me, as long as they fear me" quote."

Erik smiled and nodded, "Yes sir, I also learned that from the same book, it was said by a Roman Emperor."

Victoria looked at him and laughed. Then she bowed, saying "Were not worthy." Then she laughed again.

Erik joined in the laughter and Katja just looked at her mate thinking just how much she still needed to learn from him.

Then he looked at Victoria again and said, "I really am sorry I had to do it that way, but it was the only way I could think of to make sure you were on our side and would help quickly."

Victoria smiled at him and waved the apology away. "Don't worry about it, I was paid back amply." She smiled at Geoff. "And also, now that I know how it works, I'll know it when someone else tries it on me."

Then Katja said, "I need to get down to the garage and check in with Ariel uncle. I imagine she'll need a little help."

Then Erik added, "I think I'll head down with her sir, as I'm not going to do the classes this week or next, I might as get started writing up some things for the tech classes. Would you have some time later or tomorrow to go over the meeting or with everything going on, did you even have a chance to have it?"

He smiled at Erik and said, "No, I did cancel it. There was just too much going on like you surmised. I think we'll put that on hold for a week or so. Just till we figure out what's going on. We'll be holding the conference in the classroom you've been using, it's big enough to do it. So, I'll see you both at 0900."

Erik and Katja said goodbye and they headed out.

Once the door closed, Victoria was in Geoff's arms kissing him. Then she smiled, "I have never met anyone quite like him Geoff, it's really unbelievable. He comes across as a simple everyday person, then when you least expect it, he comes out with things like he said today. I'm normally very good at reading people, it's sort of part of my job. But him? It's uncanny, it really is."

Geoff grinned, "Yes, I realized that the minute I met him. He is one of the most intuitive people I have ever met or dealt with of either species. He makes split second decisions, and it always seems to be they right one. And before you ask, no, I didn't what he was doing until he just told us. But, I really should have known better, because how he acted wasn't normal for him that I've seen."

He grinned, "He is one of the best things that ever happen to my niece and our people. People are drawn to him because of how he is. All I can say is, I'm glad he's on our side, I don't think you'd ever want to be on his bad side. He's probably as capable of destroying someone as he is helping them."

Erik and Katja walked down into the garage and went over to the office where Ariel was going over something with a frown on her face. They stopped just outside the door and she said to Erik, "She looks quite natural sitting there, doesn't she love."

"Yes," Erik answered. "She certainly does, she fits right in."

Ariel looked up with a smile and ran over to them, first hugging Katja, then Erik. "It's about time you two showed up. So how did you like goofing off while we were working?"

Erik laughed and hugged her giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. "We had a fine time, but just why was there a frown on my beautiful sister's face? I told you before, pouts and frowns don't look good on you."

Ariel laughed, "I was frowning because one, I still don't want to be an officer, and two, some of these people need to learn how to write or just use the computer because I can't read it."

Erik laughed at her, "You're in charge, just tell them that. And make them do it again and again until you can. It took me like three times before my supervisor accepted mine."

Ariel grinned, "Yes, I suppose I should have thought of that."

Katja smirked at her, "Just remember that I need to be able to read yours also. Look, I can give you an hour right now to help, then Erik and myself need to go and see the reporters. Is there anything else you need help with?"

Ariel thought for a minute, "I could use some help with the schedule, with all that's been going on here the last few days, a lot of things went by the wayside."

"Katja," Erik said, "This might be a good time to start that maintenance board I been talking about, you want to try?"

Katja nodded and said, "That might not be a bad idea. What do you think Ariel?"

Ariel nodded, "If it makes it easier, I'm all for it."

Erik smiled and said, "Okay, I just need to find something to put it on, you have any bigger boards like that one there?" He pointed to a small, what looked like one of the dry-erase boards. "I should be maybe two three times that size. The bigger the better really. And let me have a copy of the roster for the shop of who does maintenance and a list of all the tasks."

Katja thought for a minute, then said. "I think there's one in the storage room, let's go take a look."

They walked over to a set of double doors and Ariel opened it using the keypad. The lights came on as they entered and they looked around, they finally found it with a bunch of containers hiding it. Erik looked at it and said, it would do, so he muscled it out and carried it over to the office and leaning it up against the outer wall. He remembered seeing some spray cleaner over by the cleaning area, so he went over and got the bottle of cleaner and some towels and went to work cleaning all of the crud off it.

He looked over at the clock and then down at his uniform. He went back in to the office and told Katja he was going to get changed before the meeting. Carrying the board out and cleaning it got most of the dirt on him. He asked if she wanted to go up with him and then go to the classroom. Katja smiled and nodded, then they walked back to her quarters to get Erik a clean uniform.

Once changed, they walked back to the classroom and entered. They saw the commander and Victoria so they walked over to greet them.

Victoria smiled, "We should be starting in a bit, the TV guys are just finishing setting up. That's the nice thing about being a reporter for the paper, all I have to take out my pad and I'm ready. She explained to them what would more than likely be asked and talked about. Then she looked at Erik and said, "Erik, they are probably going to ask you some questions about what happened."

Erik held a hand up, and grinned at her, "Don't worry about it Victoria, I've got it covered. Just remember our conversation earlier." Then he gave her a slow wink smiling.

Then the commander said, "Erik, Katja you remember Mr. Sharpe I hope."

Erik smiled and said, "Yes sir. How have you been? Busy I would imagine, with all this."

Mr. Sharpe smiled, "Yes lieutenant, quite busy. But it made the time go by quickly as they say."

Erik grinned, "Yes, I imagine it would."

"So, are you ready for this dog and pony show?" Mr. Sharpe asked grinning using a Navy term that Erik was more than familiar with.

"Yes sir, I suppose so." He said.

The guy in charge of the TV people came over and said to Victoria, "Vicky, were already now, if you and the others are. We'll start with you, then the Commander and then end up with the two Lieutenants. Does that sound all right?"

Victoria nodded, "Yeah, that's fine by me. Commander? Any problems with that?"

Commander Geoff smiled then looked at Erik and he nodded to him so he said it was fine.

The four of them went over and sat down out of the view of the video camera. Katja took Erik's hand and said to him. "Erik, I'm a little nervous about this, could you answer most of the questions? Please love? I'm afraid I'll freeze up and embarrass us."

Erik squeezed her hand and said, "That's all right kitten, I will. But, if they ask something you want to answer go ahead, but don't worry about it, I'll take care of you kitten just like I promised."

Katja looked at him with love in her eyes and squeezed his hand.

The interviews started with Victoria and she answered various questions and told them how this all started. She gave them a little background and then turned it over to Commander Geoff. He welcomed them to the ship and then answered some more questions on the background of why they came to earth and what some of the future plans were.

The TV crew broke for a few minutes and they invited Erik and Katja up. The guy in charge came up and smiled saying they would start in a few minutes. The crew changed some things around, two make room for both of them, then they began.

The reporter smiled and said, "Good morning, were back now with Lieutenants Woodes and Katja. They are the first mixed species couple here in America. The two of them are "Mated" in accordance with the Lyonness laws and customs, for those of you that are not familiar with the term, that would be same as us being married."

"So, Mr. Woodes, just for a little background, as I'm sure our audience would like to know, could you tell us just how you two met?" He asked smiling.

Erik smiled back, then replied, "Yes, of course, I'd be happy to. We met at a local café I normally stop at. I had just gotten there and I heard and saw a drunken human giving this young girl a hard time, yelling and insulting her. Now, I despise bad manners in anyone, let alone when it was being done to some poor young girl. So, I went over and gave this waste to the human gene pool a lesson in manners, explaining to him why he shouldn't do this."

Erik took a drink of water, "So, after his friend carried him away," He grinned slightly as he heard some laughter from the TV crew. "I apologized to her for the guys bad manners and offered to buy her lunch so she wouldn't think all humans were like that. Then after lunch, I offered to show her around as this was her first day off the ship and in town."
