The Morrisons Ch. 25

I saw the tears well up in his eyes so I stopped and turned towards him and gave him a man hug at the same time I said, "If they can find a cure for you, you can have your old job back in a heartbeat."

Tom stepped back and looked me right at me saying, "You sir, are a man of honor. Thank you for all you do. I'll never forget it."

Janet stepped over and joined our hug saying, "Dan, in all the years you worked for Tom, he's always spoke highly of you. Now I'm getting a first-hand look at why he said all those good things about you. Thank you Dan, if there's anything you want or need, I want you to come to us immediately."

"I will, I promise." I said as I stepped away and had to catch up with Marsh, Becca, Kim and Beth.

When I stood between Beth and Kim Marsh said, "Papa Victor and Mama Vicky, this is Dan Morrison, my new friend."

"Dan, these young people are Victor and Victoria Martinelli. You may call them Papa Victor and Mama Vicky. I grew up in their house and they are like my father and mother. They helped shape me into the man I am today. I'm so glad they could make it."

"What do you mean; you are so glad we could make it." Mama Vicky quizzed Marsh. "You told us to be ready and you'd come and pick us up. That didn't leave much room for us to make a choice now did it?"

"I'm sorry Mama Vicky; I didn't mean to sound like an unruly son. I was so excited; I may have momentarily forgotten my manners." Marsh replied.

"That's my boy; you know when mama is trying to help you learn. It's been a tough job, but somebody has to do it." Mama Vicky said as she hugged Marsh.

I stepped forward and hugged Mama Vicky as she said, "It's good to meet you Dan Morrison."

I shook hands with Papa Victor and when he pulled his hand back he looked at his hand and counted his fingers and thumb before he smiled at me saying, "Yep, they're all there."

I looked at him for second before he added, "My fingers and thumb, they are still on my hand. Marsh tells me you are some big executive and I wanted to make sure I had all my fingers and my thumb when I finished shaking hands with you."

I laughed and said, "Oh Papa Victor, I'm not one of those kinds of executives. Believe it or not I actually stay very involved with my employees. You won't find me out at the country club or golf course during business hours. I also don't micro-manage but I do expect a minimum of one hundred percent productivity. I came up from the bottom and worked my way to the top so I know what's it's like to be a pee-on in a large company."

"Now that .... my Marsh didn't tell me. Congratulations, my boy." Papa Victor said as he vigorously shook my hand again.

We were interrupted by Leyanni's voice as she asked, "May I have everyone's attention for a moment?"

When everyone was quiet she said, "I would like all of you to find a table and please sit down. I'd like Marsh, Becca, Trish, Jimmy, Kim, Beth and Dan to please come up here and sit at the head table."

We made our way up to the front of the room towards Layanni. In a short time she had someone transform the dining room into a banquet hall. Everyone had found a seat, as Marsh made his way to the head table, to sit between Becca and Trish. I sat between Kim and Beth, and Jimmy and Leyanni had seats on the ends of the table.

Waiters and waitresses came out of the kitchen and filled everyone's drink order. The children below the legal age were given ginger ale or Seven Up, served in Champaign flutes, which I'm positive, made every one of them feel very special. Before leaving the room the wait staff took everyone's dinner order before most of them disappeared into the kitchen. I looked around the room and noticed some people had beer, wine or soda however Marsh and most of his friends had sparkling Martinelli grape juice.

Once everyone had a drink Marsh stood up, "On behalf of Turner Security I want to welcome all of you. Tonight we have a combination of our friends and families who have come together for the first time, here at the Lava Pit. The original group of people, who came to the island, came here to relax and enjoy the resort. That was, as I understand it, before two people who are very much in love decided to be joined together by taking their vows as early as tomorrow afternoon. Tonight we sit here as a whole group and hopefully before the end of this trip; we'll all become good friends. For those of you who just arrived, I want to extend to you an invitation to enjoy the resort and all its amenities. Leyanni, who is our resort manager, will run through all that information before we leave here tonight. But for now, I'd love to propose a toast to new friendships and long, high quality lives."

Everyone stood and raised their glass and toasted, "Here ... Here!"

When everyone was seated again, I stood up and said, "Among our numbers are members of families who've never met before tonight. I sincerely hope that each of you take time to get to know each other. All of us have had an opportunity to greet each other and over the next few days, as Marsh said, it is also my hope all of us make lasting friendships. Over the next few days we hope you'll enjoy the resort and take advantage of every opportunity and experience."

"There is one other very important item that Marsh didn't mention and since I'm only partly responsible for the mayhem that caused most of you to disrupt your lives and travel here to paradise; I want to name the other responsible party. Sitting to my far right, your left is a man I just recently met. They say first impressions are important but I'm not a judgmental kind of guy so the hell with first impressions."

The room erupted with applause and laughter.

"I'm not telling tales out of school," I said when the room quieted down, "So this information is really for the group that came to the resort with me. A few minutes ago, Kim, Beth and I found out Marsh and Becca will also be married tomorrow and we've agreed to have one very big hellacious wedding."

Everyone in the room stood up as their cheers and applause filled the room. The standing ovation lasted at least a minute or so.

When they calmed down and sat down again, I continued with, "Therefore, I propose this toast to all of us as a group. May we find love, peace, friendship but most of all respect for the personal choices each of us make."

There was a shuffle of chairs as everyone stood and raised their glass before taking a sip of their chosen drink.

Leyanni remained standing when the rest of us took our seats. She walked up and stood off to the side of the head table before she greeted all the new comers. The first thing she said was, "I'm very happy to see all of you have chosen to leave your textiles in your cabins or in your suitcase. As the manager of this resort, I have always encouraged everyone to enjoy nudity, while they're here. If this is your first time being socially nude, I want to tell you it's ok to look, all of us do it. Each one of us has a body that no one else has and that makes each individual unique."

Leyanni continued to speak as she gave everyone in the room, a brief overview of the resort amenities. She invited everyone to take advantage of them. She also said, "Tomorrow is a day of great celebration. Tomorrow morning is going to be a hectic time for me as I coordinate all the last minute details, so you won't see much of me. I have made arrangements with some of our resort staff and some of our Turner Security people to help me."

"It was decided by the brides that everyone will wear a matching te pāreu and sandals. For those who weren't here for the planning, everyone will wear their te pāreu around their waist in a traditional Hawaiian style. Girls, that means you'll be topless in the wedding pictures. As I look around the room, there are going to be some beautiful breasts in those pictures."

"When you go to the cafeteria for breakfast in the morning, with the exception of the wedding parties, I will have people there to give you your sandals and te pāreu, after you finish breakfast. My assistants will show you how to wrap your te pāreu and tuck it so it won't come apart. The wedding will begin at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon so please plan to arrive in the garden by 1:30. If anyone has any questions, I'll be very happy to answer them while we're waiting for dinner to be served."

Ted stood up and said, "My name is Ted Johnson, I don't have a question but I'd like to personally thank Leyanni for all the work she's put into the last minute planning of not just one wedding of my dear friends Dan Morrison and Beth Thompson but two weddings of my most recent friends Dr. Marshall Mitchel and Rebecca Andrews. It boggles my mind the amount of coordination it must have been for you to even attempt a feat like this. Thank you Leyanni!"

The group once again jumped to their feet and roared with cheers and applause. Leyanni stood in front of the room and nodded her head in several directions acknowledging the appreciation shown by the standing ovation.

A few more people stood and made comments before the kitchen doors opened and the waiters and waitresses came out carrying trays filled with dinner plates. Once the food was served there was minimal conversation. With dinner finished and dessert in front of everyone, Leyanni stood and asked for everyone's attention again. When everyone was looking at her she said, "I just got a text from my staff, they have completed putting together the fireworks display I asked for. They will be ready to fire them off as soon as we can get over to the amphitheater."

"ALL RIGHT!" John Simpson yelled, "This place is AWESOME!"

"WOW! FIREWORKS!" Andy White exclaimed.

"I LOVE FIREWORKS!" Jimmy Turner added.

Suddenly all the kids in the room gulped down their dessert in hopes of having the fireworks go off sooner.

When everyone was finished with dessert all of the kids were past the excited stage and anxious to get over to the place where the fireworks were going to be set off. Jimmy walked over by the front door and said, "Ok, all of us kids get to go first. Line up here and I'll take you over to the amphitheater."

There was a mad rush of all the young people in the group to join Jimmy by the doors. He opened the doors saying, "Come on, and follow me."

We stood and watched all the young people file out the door behind Jimmy Turner. Trish looked at everyone and said, "I haven't seen him so happy and act like that, eeeever! I don't know what got into him but I sure hope whatever it is, he'll keep it up."

Leyanni said, "We'd better get out of here and follow that gang because I'm afraid there'll be trouble if they get there and have to wait for us."

Those of us who brought golf carts shared a ride with those who recently arrived. When we got to the amphitheater, we parked the golf carts and walked down the steps in the center of the earth berm. On each side of us were rows of raised concrete, which served as benches. The kids were all gathered around Jimmy in the middle of the seats.

Everyone walked down the steps and moved in between the concrete benches until all of us were seated in a group. I saw Leyanni lead Marsh, Becca, Trish and of course Wolf to the raised seating area in the back. That area was more elevated and Leyanni could see everyone and everything.

I saw Leyanni text something on her phone and within a few moments the sky lit up with a beautiful display of red, white and blue sparkles, followed by two loud detonations that reverberated and seemed to shake the ground. For the next half hour or so, we were consumed by the dazzling fireworks display of so many colors and many more of those earthshattering explosions. All of the children responded with screams of pleasure and delight. They clapped their hands and cheered when the more spectacular bursts of sparkles streamed radiant colors from the sky. The older people in the group were just as vocal as the younger people.

When the fireworks were over Jimmy gathered all the young people around him and asked, "Did you have fun tonight?"

All of them shouted "YES!!" as they continued to talk all at once.

Our group of older people sat and watched Jimmy with the younger people in our group, expecting them to get up after the fireworks were over. However they seemed to huddle closer to Jimmy and we could see him talking to the kids but we couldn't hear what he was saying.

We got up and moved down closer and it was only then we discovered the younger people were taking turns asking Jimmy about his days when he served in the Vietnam War. Papa Victor moved down closer to Jimmy, as did Rick Jamison, both men joined the conversation since they were both also Vietnam Veterans.

The kids as well as the young adults listened intently to every word Jimmy, Rick and Papa Victor said. It was apparent a couple of the questions that were asked had an effect on the men and each of them gallantly tried to hide their emotions.

The older teens recognized the men were having some emotional problems so they stepped over and leaned down as they hugged and kissed the old veterans. Each one of them whispered in their ear, "Thank you for your service to our country."

Jenna looked directly at Jimmy and asked, "May I sit on your lap while you finish your story?"

Jimmy smiled and moved slightly so Jenna could sit down. Jenna wrapped her right arm around the back of Jimmy's neck and pulled his head close to her face and she kissed the top of his head.

At the same time Angela White, Joanna Doyle, Jill Branigan and Audrey Banks gathered around Papa Victor and Rick with two of them on each side of them. They joined their arms around each other as support. Papa Victor looked first one way and then the other smiling at the nude girls before he added yet another bit to something Jimmy had said.

Everyone, young and old learned something about the three men but most importantly, they heard first hand stories and accounts about an unpopular war so long ago, yet it seemed like only yesterday to the old veterans.

Over a half hour had passed since the end of the fireworks when there was a lull in the questions being asked by the children and young adults so Tiny Simpson seized the opportunity to say, "It's getting late and time for some of you to go to bed. Now, would be a good time to head back to the cabin."

All three of the Simpson children protested as would be expected of anyone having fun. John spoke up saying, "But mom, Jimmy promised to take us out on his yacht for a ride tonight."

Jimmy turned to Tina before saying, "Yes, I did promise them a night cruise. There are beds they can use on the yacht if they get tired."

Tina remembered all the days the kids had been cooped up in the confines of their home before they had a chance to go to the Morrisons or to the park. She also remembered despite a few disagreements, the kids had basically been very well behaved. Finally she smiled and nodded her head in agreement before she said, "If you promise to listen and follow all the instructions that Jimmy gives you, I guess you can go."

All three children and Jimmy cheered as they stood up. John ran up to his mother and hugged her saying, "Thank you mom. You are the greatest."

Jimmy laughed and said, "Come on, let's go for a ride. If anyone else wants to join us for a nighttime cruise, you'd be welcome."

The "children" followed Jimmy as he started walking towards the small marina he'd built for his boats. When they reached the docks, Jimmy walked out on the dock where his sixty foot Hatteras yacht was tied. Behind him, on the dock, were about twenty six people all together who wanted to take a ride on the luxury boat. Like a good captain, Jimmy stood by and assisted those who needed help to go aboard. After the Thompson boys cast off the lines, Jimmy expertly moved the big boat away from the dock, through the small marina and into the open water. Once he was outside the marina he opened the throttles and brought the bow of the boat out of the water until it gained enough speed to plane out and move swiftly across the gently waves.

Those of us who didn't follow Jimmy were left in the amphitheater and we gathered in a group near the top where Marsh was standing. Everyone joined the conversation and we talked for a while before Marsh asked Leyanni if his boat had been brought over from his place to the marina. Leyanni told him it was tied up and covered at one of the docks.

"We have a couple of weddings to finish making plans for," Marsh said, "How about we take a ride and finish the plans?"

Leyanni turned to the people who arrived last, "I have a couple of young ladies sitting with your bags and suitcases. All of them are stacked on the front porch of the cabin Dan is staying in. There wasn't any worry about someone stealing your bags; I only sent them down there in case we ended up splitting up like we are. I'd like to have the Simpson and the White families in the cabin near the water so the parents will be close to the beach when the kids play in the water. The girls will show you the house and bedrooms where some of you will be staying. Please do me a favor and tell them they can go home after they show you your rooms."

Leyanni continued by saying, "As I understand it, all of the young adults and teenagers have decided they will be sharing one cabin. I've made arrangements to have a couple of roll-away beds put into their cabin. I've also made arrangements for some other roll-away beds to be brought down to the coconut grove for the younger kids. I told my guys to put a couple on each porch and they can be moved around to fit everyone's needs."

Tom said in a clear voice, "No problem Leyanni, we'll make sure everyone has a place to sleep. Now, if all of you will follow us, we'll show you the way to Dan's cabin."

Brenda was on one side of Tom with her arm around his waist when Janet hooked her arm into her husband's arm on the other side and nuzzled his neck before she said, "Oh honey, it turns me on when you take charge like this. I've got something special for you when we get back to our cabin."

"May I have everyone's attention for a moment," Marsh said loud enough for everyone to stop talking and listen to him, "For all of you who didn't go out on Jimmy's boat tonight; I promise you'll get a nice cruise before we have to leave the island."

****************************

Everyone found a seat in one of the golf carts and they headed towards the cabins, Tom Jr. put his arm around his wife Faith saying, "When we get back, I'm going to take you down to the beach and I'm going to make love to you with the sound of the surf as our background music."

"Did you hear that Tom?" Janet asked, "Our son is going to take his wife down to the beach and make love to her. I think we should join them, that is, if they don't mind having company."

"Mom, with all the firsts that are happening on this trip," Faith began, "You don't have to ask if you can join us, just do it. I think it would be fun if both of us rode our men cowgirl style at the same time. Brenda can have her choice of whose face she wants to sit on, while we work the lower half of them."

"Oh honey," Tom Jr. said, "You know I'm going to have to taste that delicious lil pussy of yours before you take that ride. And if you do ....."

Brenda spoke up saying, "I've been quiet long enough, I'm getting sooooooo hot from all this talk, my juices are leaking down the inside of my legs. I hope someone saves something to take care of me. A tongue is ok for starters but I want a nice stiff cock in my pussy. If one of you can't take care of me too, I'll just have to go find me one of those hunks, running around here, and make all you women jealous."

Everyone laughed loudly before Bob McGrath said, "Brenda, we take care of our own around here, there's no need to go hunting for anything."
