Adopted by teachers and raised in the boonies without television. Is it any wonder that I read? Spent too much time and too much money pursuing multiple academic degrees, then abandoned that life with regret. Took a while to recover from membership in the cult of academia. Fell into a 'dirty job' type of work, and found myself happy to be doing it.
