Many of my stories take place in what I call "Mel's Universe," after the female lead in "Mel's Phone Call" and "Chronicle: Mel & Chris" series. In addition to these many of my Contest and Author Event entries also take place in this universe. But not all. I have other universes and stand-alone stories, so if you've only read the Contest stories in isolation the above might not be apparent. I dare you, go check out a few more stories to get it all. Most of my stories include anal, but I rarely post there. See tags.. == Other than "Chaptered" stories, my works can be read alone but reading the related ones will add depth and I hope will be more enjoyable if you follow the series. == Mel's Universe If you want it all, follow in roughly the order below. Or jump around. - The 'Carole Series' (set in 1981) -- "Carole at the Art Lecture", "Carole at Dinner" and "Carole at Work and Play". - "A Tale of Two Parties" (set in 1980) [Halloween 2019 entry] : prequel & sequel to the 'Carole Series.' - "Adrift in Space" (set in 1981-1985) : sequel to "Carole at Work and Play," and "A Tale of Two Parties." Prequel to the Mel stories. Universe Origin story and main thread (set in 1985, 1986, ...): - "Mel's Phone Call," chapters 1, 2, 3 - Sequel: "Chronicle: Mel & Chris," chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 so far (more coming) - Chapter 5 recently released, chapter 6 soon. - "Chasing Robes & Shadows" (set 1980-1986) - sequel to "Tale of Two Parties," interleaves with "Chronicle, ch. 4," and "You Promised Me Geeks: Asha & Tracy." These below are also set in Mel's Universe and can be read on their own. But if you've read the above a few items will make a bit more sense most likely and you might get some bonus material: - "City of Angels" (set in 1963-65) [Nude Day 2019 entry] : read this then read "You Promised Me Geeks: UK Summer." - 'Geek Pride' series (semi-standalone serial stories): 1) "You Promised Me Geeks" (set in 1985) [Geek Pride 2019 entry] 2) "You Promised Me Geeks: Asha & Tracy" (set in 1986) 3) "You Promised Me Geeks: UK Summer" (set in 1986) (more to come) - "Chlorine Dreams" (set 1978 & 1986) [Summer Lovin' 2020 entry] - "Sex, Toys & Video: A Tale" (set in ?) [Nude Day 2020 entry] - it's a future that looks very... familiar? - "Sex, Toys & Bots: A Valentine Tale" (set in ?) [Valentine's Day 2021 entry] - It's time for a contest. - "The Princess and the Queen" (set in ?) [Summer Lovin' 2019 entry] : "A Tale of Two Parties" is a sequel, but not a direct sequel to the events in this story. You don't have to read this one to understand "A Tale" but it'll add depth. - "One Night in Las Vegas" (set in A Future) [One Night in XXX 2019 Event entry] : is a special case. The answer for where it fits is clear in the text if you've dipped deeply into my works. But if you read only this one, it will make sense. == Mermaid Universe == - "A Mermaid Christmas" (set in A Future) [Winter Holidays 2019 entry] : Self-contained but loose ends. This is unique in my works in that it's based on a spec I was given as opposed to my own base idea, to write a story around two young women transformed into mermaids. I was given Sarah and Rachel as recent law school graduates, a tech mogul and mermaids. I took it from there as a challenge. - "A Christmas Miracle on Dewdrop" [Winter Holidays 2020 entry] : for the Winter Holidays contest at the end of the year. It's not a direct sequel to "A Mermaid Christmas" and is very readable on its own but reading both might reveal a few insights. -- A sequel is on the way. == Other Stories in their own universes (maybe ours, maybe not) "Serve and Volley" (set in Present) [Nude Day 2021 Contest entry] - a man, a woman, their tennis date and strangers. It's a Nude Day story, so most likely they're outside. Do they care? "A Dream of Age & Beauty" (set in 2019) is about an older woman and a younger man and their... obsessions. Yes, it could certainly do with a sequel. I'm trying... "Through the Woods" (set in Some Year) is not, well, not quite, our universe. But it isn't not our universe. Draw your own conclusions. It includes dachshunds. But not in a sexual way. Just cute sausage dogs. Well, maybe not so cute. Again, draw your own conclusions. - A sequel is on the way. "Through a Glass Lightly" (set in Present) [On the Job 2020 Event entry] : Purely stand-alone story, no prequel nor sequel planned. "Sales and Development" : Purely stand-alone story, no prequel nor sequel planned. Other works spread all over.
