A Lovely Day for a Walk

As they said goodbye Dorothy slipped a card into Jane's hand. 'It's our number and address. Just in case you have anything else in mind and wouldn't mind an old couple joining in.'

'Thank you,' said Jane. 'Today was such a success I think we'll have to have a repeat.'

'Absolutely,' said Chuck.

'And we won't do a thing without contacting our newest friends,' added Stella.

'Now,' said Jane, 'one last challenge if we're up for it, ladies.' The two other women nodded. 'We leave our tops unbuttoned for the drive home, and if possible for the remainder of the day. What do you think?'

'Certainly, I think the fresh air has been most welcome,' said Dorothy.

They said goodbye and drove off. On her way home, Jane reflected that she had set out that day looking for a small piece of excitement and had found four new friends and a whole lot more excitement than she had bargained for. It had really been a lovely day for a walk.
