Galuzzo Broke Me In

By 9:30 I was finished with the lawn and went inside for a drink and a break. I was a mess. My shirt was sticking to me and I had sweat stains under my arms and around my neck and my hair was matted to my head.

After my break I decided to do the "indoor chores", you know, stay out of the heat for a while. Vacuuming, dishes, dusting, washing windows.

I laid down on the couch for a little bit and must've dozed off some, because the next thing I knew I felt a soft kiss on my forehead. I opened my eyes and it was Danny.

"Danny? How did you, what -"

"Your sister invited me in. She's getting me a Coke. I just wanted to say to you that I'm so sorry about last night baby, really I am."

"Oh me too," I said and sat up, wrapping my arms around his shoulders, hugging him.

He held my hand, "Listen baby, how about you come over tonight?"

I smiled, "I'd like that."

"Me too."

He embraced me gently and we French kissed.
