Handyman Ch. 03

"That's better," she said getting back to her feet. "That's both of us sorted out."

She shut down the shower and reached for the towels, handing me one. We dried off and returned to her room to get dressed, well, as dressed as you can be in the tee shirt and trainers that was all that I was allowed. I was still doing up my laces when there was a knock on the door and, when Cassie replied, Mrs. Hall entered the room.

"Cassie darling, lovely to see you. Leslie said I'd find you up here."

"Just having a quick shower."

"So I see. I do hope the boy was satisfactory."

"He was fine."

"Excellent. Off you go, Andy, I'll call you if I need you. Now, Cassie, have I told you about..."

And, with that, I was dismissed. They were so busy chatting together I'm not even sure they noticed me leaving the room.
