Susan and the Professor Ch. 11

So, Susan's semester with Professor Robert Bruce Reynolds ended perfectly - no traumas, no lingering, tearful goodbyes, no dreaded separation - just a pleasant interlude that had concluded to everyone's satisfaction. Now, with his departure, Susan was free to move on to other things, or, at least, to one thing she and Jim had been discussing for some time - trying to have a second child. Having "beaten the odds," as Jim thought of it, they were ready to try again. As a result, with Robert gone, along with the likelihood of his getting her pregnant, Susan went off of the pill - just in time for another month in Maine! However, that's another story, perhaps for another time!
