Katja Pt. 13

He looked around, then asked her, "Do you wanted some more to drink before I clean up here a bit?"

She smiled and nodded. He held the glass for her again as she sipped at it. Then he set the glass down and proceeded to strip off the soiled sheet and protector. Then put on fresh linen for when she wanted to lie down in a while. Then he stopped by their alter and thanked the goddesses for helping her to have an easy birth and for making sure that everyone was healthy. Then he added, "Thank you to all three of you for all that you've done for us. Know that we will always love and respect you. We will teach our children to know all of you." Then he broke down in tears, "I can't thank you enough for the happiness you have brought to my life. Even though I belong to the Lady Brigit, Mother Bast and Mother Briast know that if you ever have need of me for any reason, I am here for you and I love all three of you."

Erik felt himself surrounded in warmth as if in an embrace. Then he felt first one, then a second pair of lips kiss his forehead. Then he felt his Lady take him in her arms to hold him against her and felt her lips on his as he felt an intense flare of pleasure go through him that made him weak. It was indescribable, it was like when he and his mate made love but a hundred times more powerful. Brigit kissed him again, then laughed with her lilting voice. "I warned you, what could happen if you kept up with the honeyed words dear one."

Weak all over, Erik grinned. "Yes, you did, my lady. Once I can think again without sounding like a gibbering idiot, I'll thank you for the experience. I love you."

Then they were gone and he felt empty for a moment. Then he heard Katja call his name and he turned to walk over to her. He smiled weakly at her, and said, "Yes my love?"

Katja looked at him, "Are you all right my mate? I called to you and didn't answer."

Erik smiled at his mate, "Yes love, I'm fine. I was thanking the Mothers, and they expressed their appreciation for it, especially My Lady. It left me a little weak to be kissed by all three of them. I'll be fine in a minute."

"Did you need anything? Or can I help you?" He asked.

Katja smiled at her mate, "I'm fine love, the children are finished feeding for now. But could you take one of them so we can help them burp?"

Erik smiled and took his son from her, and after putting a towel over his shoulder, he held Geoff and gently stroked and pat his back.

Katja smiled as she did the same with Brigitte. "Thank you love, I didn't know you knew how you do it."

Erik sat on the bed and smiled at her. "Well, I've seen others do it and I read up on it one day between classes."

Just then, Geoff let out a loud burp that startled Erik. Erik grinned and pulled him of his shoulder to cradle him. He tickled his sons chin and said, "Good one son." Then Erik grinned widely as his son smiled at him and purred.

Katja smiled at the scene, then heard Brigitte give a slightly more lady like burp.

Erik laughed as he said, "All ready acting like a perfect little lady like her mother."

Katja smiled at both her daughter and mate. Then she said to him, "Yes, she is, and your son is all ready acting like a male. Why don't you take your daughter again while I put on some clothes and then we can introduce the them to their aunt and uncle."

Erik nodded and smiled as he came over, then Katja handed him his daughter. He held them as she got up a little steadier now as she went to get dressed.

Molly had sat there and smiled at the four of them. She was very happy for them, as she was for all the couples she had assisted over the years. Everything seem to be fine even with them being mixed species, so she had no worries.

Katja came out in shorts and a zippered shirt that would be easier to open up when she needed to nurse the children. She watched her mate talking to the children and they were grinning at whatever he was saying to them. Children of her species were born being able to understand and slightly communicate. They would grow quickly the first few months and be able to talk somewhat, though with them being mixed species, they'd have to see if that held true.

She walked in and took Brigitte from Erik and said. "It's time for them to meet their aunt and uncle love."

Erik smiled and stood, then they walked out to the living room where a smiling Ariel and Tony waited.

Ariel grinned as she saw them and came over to kiss Katja and Erik. "I'm so happy for you two. They are beautiful children, Brigitte looks just like you my sister and Geoff is as handsome as you my brother."

Then she reached down and stroke Brigitte's cheek with one soft, gentle finger. "Welcome to the family my Niece, I'm your aunt Ariel." Brigitte looked at her and smiled, then purred."

Then Ariel went to Erik, she reached down and stroke Geoff's cheek "Welcome to the family my Nephew, I'm your aunt Ariel." He looked at her wide eyed and smiled, then he purred also.

Then Tony came over and kissed Katja, then with a shaking finger, he stroked Brigitte's cheek like Ariel did, "Welcome to the family my Niece, I'm your Uncle Tony." Brigitte looked at him with wide eyes, her mouth open in wonder to see someone like him for the fist time. She reached up and grabbed his finger and smiled. Tears started to flow down Tony's face as he went to Erik and took hold of the shoulder of the man, he called brother. Then he looked at Geoff and as he did with his niece, he stroked his nephew's cheek, "Welcome to the family my Nephew, I'm your Uncle Tony."

In wonder, Geoff looked at Tony with wide eyes, then grinned as he put his hand on Tony's. Tony look at his brother and grinned as the tears flowed down both of their faces. The both held each other's shoulders as Geoff held to Tony's hand, and an unbreakable bond was formed.

Ariel and Katja both had tears coursing down their faces as the watch them. Then Ariel said, I'll get us something to drink. Why don't you all sit down and I'll be right back."

Erik smiled, then said to Katja, "I guess we should call uncle Geoff, though he probably already knows, and Helen and Azlan."

Katja nodded smiling, so Erik punched in Uncle Geoff's number and put the phone on speaker. The phone rang a couple of times and he heard uncle Geoff say, "Hello Erik, anything the matter?"

Erik laughed and said, "No, quite the opposite, Katja gave birth to the twins, everyone is fine and I've got the phone on speaker if you want to talk to her."

He heard Geoff roar out Victoria's name and came back on excitedly. "That is marvelous news, congratulations to both of you. Katja, are you feeling all right dear?'

Katja smiled, as replied, "Yes uncle, I'm fine, everything went perfectly and as Erik said, we're all okay. They're here with us right now." She giggled, "I think their enjoying all the excitement."

Then they heard Victoria's voice over the speaker, "Erik, Katja, I'm so happy for both of you. We can't wait to see them." Then they heard uncle Geoff ask, "Well, don't keep us in suspense, what did you name them?"

Katja smiled at Erik and nodded for him to tell them. "Well," He started, "Our daughter was named Brigitte, and thank the Goddess she looks like her mother and not me." They grinned as they heard Geoff and Victoria's laughter. "And we thought long and hard on our son's name, so we named him after the person we both love and respect more than anyone. We named him Geoff."

There was silence for a moment, then they heard a sob, "I... I don't know what to say." Uncle Geoff started, "I'm so honored, I love you both more than..." Then he said something in his own language and they heard him start to cry.

Then Victoria came on and said, "Just give my mate a few minutes. He's just collecting himself."

Erik nodded and then he heard Katja say something in her language. Erik didn't know what she said. But he heard Ariel catch her breath as tears started to run down her face as she smiled.

Uncle Geoff came back on a couple minutes later. "I'm sorry about that, I was just overwhelmed a bit. I cannot tell you two, just how honored I am by this."

Erik swallowed, then replied, "That's quite alright sir, I understand. We wanted to do this since how you've treated us, you've been like a father to Katja through all these crazy times." Then he swallowed again trying to hold back his tears, "And also, you've been more a father to me then the one I never really knew." Erik started to cry and, "I just wanted my son to have the name of the person I think of and love like a father." He quickly handed the phone to his mate and walked away from them to collect himself.

Katja then said, "Erik will be right back uncle, he's much in the same condition you were."

Then she said, "Why don't you stop over later or tomorrow. We'd love to see you."

Geoff and Victoria agreed, "Yes, that sounds like a good idea Katja. Have you told Helen and Azlan yet?"

Katja smiled, "Not yet, I planned on calling them as soon as we were done."

"Okay then, we'll more than likely see you a little later. I'm sure you want to relax a little before the hordes of surrogate relatives start stopping by."

Katja laughed, "Yes, Molly left a little bit ago, so I'd imagine the news is already making the rounds on the ship."

She heard their laughter over the phone, then Victoria replied, "Yes, that probably true, and I'll want to do something for our paper about it. But that can wait for a few days. I'll but out a blurb that you had them, but that's it for now."

Erik had come back over as he got control of himself. "We kind of figured you would Victoria. As long as it's you we don't mind. But I don't want some kind of media circus like we're some kind of celebrities."

Victoria replied, "Of course not, I understand completely. I won't let that happen."

They said they see them later and Erik hung up. He asked Katja, "You want something before we call Azlan and Helen love?"

Katja smiled, "Something more to drink would be nice right now. Then we can call them before we have lunch." She giggled, "I guess I should eat before they want to again."

Erik laughed and told her he'd be right back. He went and refilled her glass of iced tea and the doorbell rang as he put it on the table.

Ariel smiled and said, "I'll get that Erik, you take one of the kids so Katja can drink."

Erik nodded and smiled, "Thanks Ariel." He took Brigette from her and handed Katja the glass.

He sat down and cradled his daughter to him as she smiled and purred at him as she snuggled up to her father. Erik smiled as he stroked her making her purr louder like her mother did. Then he heard Helen's voice, "Oh that's wonderful." Then he saw a smiling Helen and Azlan walking in with Ariel.

He and Katja smiled as they came over to the couch, "We were in the area and we were stopping by since we were so close. This is marvelous." Helen looked at the four of them and smiled at the scene. "So, what did you name them?"

Erik grinned, "This is your niece, Brigitte. And that's you nephew Geoff." Then he said, "Kids, this is your Aunt Helen and uncle Azlan."

Helen smiled at the names. Then she bent down to lightly stroke her niece who smiled at her and grabbed her finger as she purred. Helen got tears in her eyes as she then went to Katja and did the same with her nephew who responded the same way.

Then it was Azlan's turn, he said something to Brigitte in his language and she giggled and purred as he lightly stroked her head. He smiled and went over to kiss his sister and stroke Katja's face as he said something to her. Katja smiled and kissed him back. Then he bent down and said something to Geoff, who responded to him just like Brigitte did. He stood and Erik could see the tears in his eyes and put his arm around Helen.

"Congratulations you two, we're so happy for you and the children are beautiful." He laughed, "Luckily my niece takes after their mother and aunt. And my nephew, takes after his father and me."

Helen smiled at her mate, "Have you told uncle Geoff and Victoria yet?"

Katja smiled, "Yes, we just got off the phone with them when you showed up. We were just getting ready to call you. They should be over a little later."

Azlan grinned, "I'd imagine that our uncle is floating on air."

Erik grinned back, "Yes, he's quite happy we honored him naming our son after him."

Then he laughed, "The problem now is, how bad is he going to spoil his namesake and sister."

Now it was Helens turned to grin, "Probably a little worse then the rest of us."

Ariel and Tony laughed along with her nodding yes, then Tony bent down and whispered something to her. Ariel grinned and nodded yes. Tony went to their bedroom and came back with a bag and handed it to Ariel. She came over, and said, "Since we live here, we figure we can start. She reached in the bag and pulled out small pink shirt with a flower on it. "This is for our niece" Katja smiled at her.

Then she reached in and pulled out a small black T-shirt with a Harley motorcycle logo on it. "And this is for our nephew, his first black T-shirt."

Erik started to laugh and said, "That's great, I was afraid it was going to be an actual motorcycle."

Tony grinned, "My nephew is still a little young yet, but I have one picked out to start him on."

Then Ariel grinned adding, "And I get to give my niece her first dress, once she gets a little bigger. I need to start training her on making all the little males crazy."

They all laughed and Erik said, "Great, I thought I wouldn't have to worry until she was teenager."

They laughed again, then Erik's phone rang. He picked it up and grinned, "It's Jack and Maria, how much you want to bet that Lucy already knows."

Katja grinned, "I think that's a forgone conclusion my love."

He put the phone on speaker and answered it. The first thing he heard was "Congratulations you two, we're so happy for you."

Erik laughed, 'Thanks guys. Let me guess, Lucy told you."

Jack chuckled, "Yep, that's how we knew. She told us a little bit ago, but we figured we wait a bit before we called. Then she also told Jonny, who told his parents."

Katja and Erik grinned, "Yes, we figured that would happen."

Then Jack said, "We'll be up to see you guys tomorrow, Lucy says she was told she needed to be there. We're also going to pick up Axel and his family and bring them with us."

Erik looked at Katja, "I guess it's going to be a little busy tomorrow love. Are you going to be all right?"

Katja grinned at her mate. "Yes love, I'm fine. It'll be like nothing happened by tomorrow, so don't worry."

Then he said to Jack, "Ok, we'll see you guys tomorrow then. Thanks, we really appreciate it."

Maria answered, "No problem guys, we'll see you tomorrow. We love you."

Erik hung up and smiled. "How much you want to bet Celia will be the next one to call?

Katja grinned, "I'm surprised she hasn't already."

Helen and Ariel went in to make everyone some lunch while the rest talked in the living room. They figured the best thing was to make a bunch of sandwiches and they put them on a couple of plates along with some chips and the pitcher of iced tea. They brought them out along with some paper plates, napkins, and some more glasses of ice.

They set them on the table and Helen took Geoff from Katja, while Azlan took up Brigitte so Erik and Katja could eat first in case the kids got hungry. Katja grabbed one of the turkey sandwiches, then filled up her and Erik's glasses, Erik told her thanks and grabbed a roast beef sandwich. As they started to eat, Ariel and Tony picked what they wanted and told Helen they'd take the kids as soon as they finished so they could eat.

Helen grinned, "Take your time, I'm just getting acquainted with my nephew here." She tickled him making him smile and purr. Azlan told them the same, then his eyes got wide as little Brigitte curled up in his arms hugging one of his hands with a smile on her face. He looked over at Helen and they grinned at each other wondering when they would be so blessed.

Ariel and Tony finished, then took the kids from Helen and Azlan so they could eat. Tony had his nephew and Ariel had little Brigitte. Katja looked over at Tony as she took a drink, he was playing with Geoff making him smile and purr. Katja smiled as she watched this giant human play with little Geoff. Tony was grinning ear to ear as he ran his finger over Geoff tickling him as Geoff tried to catch his finger making tiny giggling sounds and purring every time he almost got it. Tony grinned and finally let him catch his finger, Geoff gave out a tiny growl and purred as he caught it. Tony went wide eyed as Geoff hugged his hand and snuggled up to him purring. Then he cradled Geoff to him as he smiled.

Ariel had tears in her eyes as she watched the expression on her mate's face. She saw Katja smile at her and she smiled back. Ariel cradled little Brigitte to her while she purred to her. Brigitte got a smile on her face and since she was being held against Ariel's breast, she tried mouthing at her looking for a nipple to have lunch.

Ariel laughed, "Sorry my niece, that's something you'll have to see mommy about."

Katja laughed and held out her arms for Ariel to give her back. Tony asked if she wanted Geoff also and she nodded. He smiled as she took her son and asked Erik to give her a hand. Erik grinned nodding and followed her into the bedroom. Katja smiled and said, "Love, would you please unzip my shirt?"

Erik nodded, and came over down pull down her zipper and spread her shirt open for her. Brigitte found her lunch first and started to suckle at her mothers' breast, then Geoff, sensing it was lunch time, did the same on the other one.

Erik smiled in wonder as he took in the most beautiful sight in the world, his mate feeding their children. He asked, "Is there anything you need me to do love?"

Katja smiled, "Yes, just sit with me until we need to burp them and talk with me. The more they hear our voices, they faster they will learn to talk. They understand most of what we say to them, I've been talking to them in my language and English for a while now. But their vocal cords still need to develop a little more."

Erik nodded, amazed that they learned so fast. He asked, "How long until they will be talking?"

Katja smiled back, "Oh, maybe four or five weeks before they start saying words. I'm not too sure how it's going to be, since I've been talking to them in English also that might do that or just mine or any combination."

Then she smiled at him, "Right know I need a kiss from my mate. So, if you could help me out with that."

Erik smiled and came over to bend down and kiss her. The kids purred a little louder. He looked at them and then back at her. She smiled again, "They sense our love, so they're happy and content."

They finally had enough to eat and Erik took Brigitte this time to burp her. He put her on his shoulder and gently stroked and patted her back. She finally let out a very lady like burp like the first time. Erik smiled as he cradled her. He stroked her head and said to her, "Very good love, you burp like a little lady." He bent down and kissed her forehead, then smiled at her, "Just like your mommy. Your going to grow up to be a fine beautiful girl sweetness."

She grinned at him and put her hand on his face. Then snuggled up to him. His eyes got a little blurry from unshed tears as he gently hugged his daughter. He smiled at his mate and she smiled back as his son let out a nice full-throated burp. They both started to laugh as Katja hugged her son telling him he was good boy.

Katja smiled at Erik and said, "Little help here love, could you please zip up my shirt?"

Still holding Brigitte, he came over and zipped her up. She smiled, "Thank you love. Let me have her back so I can get them to take a nap." She grinned, "They're full now so they should conk out for a while."
