Wild Flower Ch. 09

Still holding Miguel's hand, Christian walked closer and looked deep in his eyes.

"I am not usually a violent person, especially not in front of someone really beautiful." He said softly, trying to control himself. "You are really, really beautiful but when I look at you, all I see in your face is rage."

"You can't say that to me." He furiously released his hand. "You don't know me. Don't mess with me because I will send you behind bars."

"I can't go to jail." Christian chuckled teasingly, shaking his head. "The law is on my side."

"I don't care and I don't give a damn." He laughed bitterly. "You can go to hell for all I care. Just don't touch me again. Do you hear me?"

"It's not like I want to touch you." Christian said rudely. "You know what I want."

"You won't get anything from me." He snapped, feeling really angry. "I am not that kind of person and I will never apologize to you. I don't apologize to anyone because you all don't matter to me."

"This has probably nothing to with me, does it?" he said with a sweet voice. "You are just angry at the world and you are taking it out on all of us, on me."

"You don't know?" Miguel said harshly, taking a step behind. "You have no right to say that to me."

"That's why I am here, to understand why you are like this." He gave a gloomy sigh. "It's just an apology and it doesn't take any of your time or your precious money. I have met a couple of young men just like you and I know that all this rage is born out of pain. It is always good to be nice because you will be at peace and people will love you. That's the way it should be."

Hearing the man's speech, Miguel laughed softly.

"That's why people like to take advantage of it?" He said softly with a serious face.

"What did you say?"

"Yes! The world might be like that but not me." He furiously pointed at himself. "I am different and you are just wasting your time if you think I am going to apologize to you."

"Well! You are going to do that because I won't leave you alone until I hear you say that you are sorry. I won't just let this go because I am not that type of person. Not everyone is interested in your money. Some of us..."

"I think I have heard enough of your foolish talk." He frowned, dropping his hands to his hips. "You should now leave me alone because I still have a lot of things to do, okay?"

With those words, Miguel made a quick turn and started going away from the man. To his surprise, the man was actually right behind him, following him wherever he went. Normally, Miguel would have really done something terrible to the man but he had no idea why he couldn't do it. He was somehow enjoying the man's talks although he was definitely annoying.

"So are you gonna..."

"I told you I am not interested." He said angrily.

"Well! Too bad you are really beautiful." Christian chirped, trying to tease the young man. He had no idea why he was enjoying what he was doing. "But your attitude is really ugly. You should try to be nice at times."

"Nice?" He chuckled bitterly. "You won't get that from me. I suggest you find somehow who you can get an apology from because that won't ever happen with me."

"Hmm, I can be persistent." Christian sighed, still following the young man. "I am ready to follow to the end of the world unless you apologize to me right now."

Miguel laughed in mock astonishment. "Good luck with that. You are a free man and can do anything that you want. But don't say I didn't warn you, okay?"

Miguel went to a store where there some beautiful magazines that he wanted to read. He was really happy and just wanted to get rid of the idiot that was following him. While he was there, his guards came and stood right in front of him.

"Sir, is there anything wrong?" One of them asked. "Is this man troubling you? Should we get rid of him for you?"

Hearing his guard's words, Miguel took a quick turn and looked at the man with an evil grin on his face.

"No!" he replied. "I am sure he is just on his way out of here. After all, he can't afford to buy anything from this mall."

Christian felt terrible once again but he wasn't gonna show it. He just smirked at the young man and said, "Alright, but remember what I have told you."

"What part?" Miguel shrugged, folding his arms on his chest. "Because none of what you said is relevant. You were just wasting your time here because I don't have time for the likes of you."

"Okay. Until next time."

Smiling at the beautiful young man, Christian made a quick turn and walked away from there. Miguel laughed as soon as he saw him leave. He shook his head and just laughed. He had no idea what the man wanted but he hoped it was the last time they would meet because he was really annoying.

"It's okay." Miguel said to his guards. "You can leave me alone now."

"Will you be alright, boss?"

"Of course," He smirked. "I wanna be left alone."

The guards bowed and then left Miguel to do his shopping. He started passing different stores, checking isles for something that he would really like. He was still shopping when he made a quick turn and boom, he saw Jack at a distance waving at him happily.

"What the fuck?" He thought, losing the smile on his face.

He saw Jack rushing towards him and he wasn't all alone. He was with someone, Josh. Seeing Josh again, Miguel felt a terrible shut pain in his heart. It was as if he was reliving every painful moment that had happened to him three years ago. He remembered every word that Josh had told him. Josh was the one that had wiped his entire family.

"Hey!" Jack chuckled happily, patting Miguel's shoulder. "What a coincidence. We have met here again."

"Huh?" Miguel gasped, trying to get himself under control. "Oh! I am really sorry. What... what are you doing here?"

"I came to pick up something." He said happily. "By the way," He looked at Josh and smiled brightly. "This is Gabriel's father, my lovely father in law."

Miguel moved his eyes towards Josh and boy did he get irritated. Josh's smile felt as if something was gonna come out of there and hurt Miguel terribly. His face felt deadly and everything else was just long. Miguel had no idea how to react. He hated coming so close to Josh. It was as if he was being killed, raped and tortured over and over again.

"Oh! That's good." Miguel smiled faintly, still looking at Josh. He was trying to control himself because he wanted to kill the bastard with his entire strength.

"It is nice meeting the young man that had saved the life of my son in law." Josh extended his hand.

Miguel moved his eyes and stared at those hands, those dirty hands which he wasn't gonna shake anyway.

"It's fine, sir." He said softly. "I just did what I had to at that moment. Your son in law is the lucky one."

"Yes! He is a really lucky bastard." He thought, clenching his fists hard. "Otherwise, I would have surely had those men kill his stinking ass but I will have the pleasure of doing that myself, Idiots."

"Well! Thank you so much." Josh dropped his hands, wondering why the young man didn't shake his hands.

"Okay." Jack chuckled. "I know that you've been avoiding having..."

"I haven't been avoiding going out." Miguel chuckled nervously. "I have just been busy and I don't usually have time to hang out. I hope you understand."

"Of course, but we are all busy and we find time to hang out." Jack said happily. "A few minutes with me won't hurt. Will they?"

"No!" Miguel said confidently. "They wouldn't hurt at all."

"Good!" Jack said happily. "I would like to invite you to my house this weekend even if it is just for a few minutes. I just wanna hang out, you know... Talk. I would really like to know you better. I just think like you and I could be great friends."

"Now this is going somewhere." Miguel thought as a grin appeared on his face. "I knew it wouldn't be long before you actually asked that."

"Please." Jack pleaded. "Your presence would surely make a big difference. I feel as if I don't actually know anything about you."

"It's true." Miguel said with a smirk. "You know nothing about me."

"I know that." Jack chuckled nervously. He had no idea why he wanted to be friends with Miguel so much. He knew that a lot could come out of that friendship. That was if Miguel actually agreed. "But that's what makes me wanna know you. Please."

"Come one, young man." Josh said happily. "I think you should listen to the pleas of my son in law. He just wants you to come to the house and have something just to appreciate you for saving his life. There is no harm in that."

"Okay." Miguel raised his hands as if he was surrendering. "I will see if I will be free on weekend and then I might just come."

"Thank you." Jack acted as if he had hit a jackpot. "So... I will see you on weekend, I hope?"

Miguel smiled faintly, nodding his head. Jack said his goodbye and then left. Miguel on the other hand just watched as the two men went away from him. He felt really irritated and furious at the same time.

"Hmm," He thought as a glower appeared on his face. "You are gonna regret ever inviting me into your life. I will make you regret it."

An evil grin appeared on Miguel as he made a quick turn and started going away to find his guards.

***

Miguel arrived at his mansion and it was quite late. He was really tired and he still had a lot of things to do. He had gone back to his office after the mall and he had done some work to get a few things off his mind. Now he was back and he was feeling a little tired.

As soon as Miguel entered his house, he saw Brian coming towards him with a smile on his face. He was putting on a beautiful dark blue cargo short and red shirt with brown sandals.

"Hey! You are finally here."

"Yes!" Miguel said softly. "Sorry I came home a little late. It's just that I had some things to do and..."

"Yeah, I know that." Brian said softly. "You are always busy and it's been really long you had just stayed whole day without doing any work."

"No!" He shook his head, heading for the living room. "That's a lie. You know very well that I had just..."

"Of course, I remember it very well." Brian said softly. "But that is nothing compared to the real outing. You should just take out a day and just do something nice, maybe for the weekend. You should forget about your troubles and..."

"I know that." Miguel said as he sat on the couch. "That's why I am going out this weekend."

"Really?" Brian gasped, sitting on the couch closer to Miguel.

"Yes!" He sighed, trying his best not to worry. "I am going to Jack's house this weekend."

"What?" Brian lost his smile as he looked at Miguel. "Are you really serious?"

"Of course," Miguel shrugged. "He invited me to go there and I think it's a good thing. Everything is going just like the way I planned it."

"I know that." Brian sat properly on the couch. "But I am really scared. I don't wanna see you get hurt by the two of them. I care about you too much." He held his hand tightly, rubbing on them sweetly.

"Hurt me?" He laughed, quickly getting up. "They can never hurt me, Brian. That will never ever happen again. I have made myself stronger for this particular moment. It will be worth it."

"Okay." Brian got up and looked at Miguel with concern. "You really have to be careful."

"I am always careful." He started walking towards the wine dispenser. He really needed a drink that night. "I never plan my moves without due consideration."

He laughed as he reached the wine dispenser. He took a small glass and served himself some wine to make him feel warm and lift his spirit. Then he went back to the living room as he took a sip of the wine. Wine always made him feel really secure and happy.

"Okay. So what's your next move?"

Hearing Brian's question, Miguel chuckled sinisterly, looking right in his eyes.

"That's a surprise." He simply said. "You will find out about it later, okay."

"Hmm," Brian gave a gloomy sigh, shaking his head. "I just want you to be careful, okay?"

Miguel gave a smile and then continued with his wine. After a few minutes of just drinking his wine and talking to Brian, Miguel was having a good time. But Brian excused himself and went to do something up in his room.

Miguel called one of his guards to the living room because he had something important for him to do.

"Mark, I have some work for you." He said.

"Yes! Tell me anything and I will do it for you, boss."

"Good!" Miguel got up, holding his wine glass tighter. "You know the man that has been bothering me for two times now, right?"

"Yes!" Mark answered in his deep manly voice. "Isn't the same man that was bothering you today at the mall?"

"Yes! He is the same one." Miguel sighed, getting a little closer to his guard. "I want you to do something for you."

"Do you want me to take care of him for you, boss?" He asked. "I can teach him a good lesson and he will never bother you again."

"No!"He pointed at his guard. "I don't want you to hurt him or even lay a finger on him. Am I understood? No harm should ever come to him."

Mark bowed his head. "Yes! What should I do then?"

"I don't want you to do much." He instructed. "I want you to find out everything about him. I want every information... what he does for a living, where he lives and every tiny detail about him will be really important."

"That won't be a problem, boss." Mark said confidently. "That will be really easy and I will provide you with that information real soon."

"Hmm," He nodded, signaling for the guard to leave.

The guard took the signal and then left.

"Just who are you?" Miguel thought as he sat back on the couch. "Why do you have so much confidence? You are fearless."

But Miguel wasn't even bothered about those questions because he knew very well that Mark was gonna provide him with that information real soon. Now he was done with that and there was only one thing left to do and that was to go to Jack and get deeper into their lives.

"I have to do this."

Miguel quickly got up and went to the wine dispense to fill up his glass.

***

"We are here, sir." Miguel heard the voice of his guard.

"What?" He snapped out of his thoughts, moving his eyes to the front seat where his guard was seated. "What did you say?"

"We have arrived, sir."

"Oh!"

Miguel moved his face to the window and looked outside. The compound looked pretty much the same except for the new cars that were parked there. Everything including the color, appearance and the whole environment was pretty much the same. He remembered living at that mansion three years ago. He had been really happy and he had love, trust and everything else. But it was now the residence of his mortal enemies. It was really painful.

The weekend had arrived after three days of waiting and Miguel was finally at Jack's place. He was dressed beautifully in a tight, sexy and seductive type of skinny jean, yellow shirt which was half way done and beautiful blue moccasin shoes.

"Open the door." He instructed.

"Yes!"

The guard quickly left the front seat and then opened the door widely. Miguel looked outside, took a quick scan of the whole compound. He gave a gloomy sigh, getting out of the car. As soon as he stepped out of the car, a whole lot of memories came rushing towards him.

Everywhere he looked reminded him of his past at that place. He saw different images. He saw himself being happy and moving around that compound. He saw himself kissing Gabriel at the entrance. He remembered all those kisses, intense nights of lovemaking and all those sweets words that they uttered to each other.

All those memories came flashing at him like hungry flaming arrows. He felt as if his skin was being torn apart. His heart shuttered to the ground. His entire strength came crushing but before things got worse, he suppressed his tears and gathered his confidence. He had come really far to just break down like that, right. He wasn't gonna let anything bring him down.

Miguel took a deep breath of confidence, removing all the negative energy. He did his best to erase all those images from his mind and after it worked, he moved his face forward and started walking elegantly towards the door.

Just as he was about to reach the door, it opened wide and a really happy Jack came out with a wonderful smile on his face. He was putting on a blue short and white t-shirt with white sandals. He seemed happy, really happy to see Miguel.

"Hey!" He shouted at the top of his voice, rushing towards Miguel. "You made it. I am so happy."

Before Miguel even had the chance to say anything, Jack came forward and held him tightly. He actually hugged him which deeply irritated Miguel. He didn't even respond. He had no idea why someone like Jack was acting so nice.

After a few seconds of hugging the guest tightly, Jack pulled away.

"I am so sorry about that." He chirped, dropping his hands. "I am just so happy that I didn't know how to react."

"It's okay." Miguel did his best to smile. "How are you doing, Jack?"

"I am fine and I am so excited you are here."

"Really?" He chuckled nervously. "Well! You invited me with so much love so why would I reject that."

"You are absolutely right."

"Yes! But I might not spend too long..."

"That doesn't matter at all." Jack threw his hand. "You shouldn't worry about that. What matters is that you are finally here. Why don't you come with me inside? My husband and my father in law are just inside."

"Um..." Miguel knew that it was a totally bad idea. He didn't want to encounter with Josh and Gabriel at the same time. It was gonna be bad. "...can we please just stay outside if you don't mind?"

"What?" Jack made a quick turn. "Why? Don't you wanna come inside my house?"

"It's not that." Miguel said. "I just don't want to disturb whatever conversation they are having. Besides, I think I just like it better outside."

"Hmm, you are probably right." Jack chuckled nervously. "Let's go to the garden then. It is near the pool and I am sure you will like it there."

Miguel nodded. The both of them went to the garden where there was a beautiful table and some chairs surrounding it. It was just like the way that he had left it. The only thing that has changed was the furniture. It was near the pool because he really loved spending time there. He still remembered it very well.

Miguel sat comfortably on the chair with his legs crossed, looking around everywhere.

"This is a really nice place that you've got here." Miguel commended. "It's really lovely."

"Oh! Thank you so much."

Jack loved getting praises like that a lot because it only showed that he was really important and people considered it like that. It felt wonderful even coming from someone like Miguel. He knew being friends with Miguel was gonna come in handy.

"Okay. You've got to excuse me now." Jack wanted to go back inside. "I need to go and call Gabriel."

"What?" He chuckled nervously. "I thought you said he was busy talking to his father."

"Yes!" He shrugged, chuckling softly. "But he was also looking forward to seeing you too. Both of us are happy that you came here." Miguel smiled faintly. "Excuse me. I will go and call him. But while I am gone, I will send someone to serve you something."

Miguel nodded and watched as Jack made a quick turn and left happily.

"Huh?"

Miguel slowly got up and started walking slowly from the chair he was seated on. He just wanted to look around and see how the entire garden was looking. Flowers had grown... the grass was greener and little things. The pool even looked a little bigger than he remembered it to be.

As he stood there and looked at the pool, a lot of memories started rushing to him. He didn't want those memories to hurt him anymore so he made a quick turn and looked away from there.
