A Weekend at Charlotte's

A long time later I sat up, reluctantly moving my body away from Kira's. She was still on her back, one knee drawn up, her breasts rising and falling. We looked at each other.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

She nodded. "But we need to talk. Not now. But soon."

"Yeah, okay."

"Kiss me."

I did, lingeringly, not wanting to stop. Finally, I looked around, half-expecting to see Curtis watching us. But we and the sapphic pair -- Amanda and Naomi, also only semi-conscious -- were the only other people in the room. Costumes and wine glasses were strewn everywhere. Charlotte would have plenty of cleaning up to do later.

"Where is everyone?" Naomi asked, blinking and trying to sit up.

"Probably packing to go home," Amanda suggested.

"We should do the same," Kira said.

All four of us groaned. And we looked at each other, thinking the same thing. None of us wanted this to end.

And, just maybe, I thought, it didn't have to.

To be continued ...
